Photographed on the banks of
Grassmere in the Lake District in November 2007 this image is all about
the balance in shapes and textures between the three elements, the knarled
old tree, the backlight seed heads of the reeds and the old rowing dingy
and the way they seem to be so much at in harmony with each other. It
exudes peace & tranquility and would be ideal for that room where you
just want to relax. That said the textures are interesting and hold
the interest of the appreciative eye. For the technical minded it was
photographed with a Canon EOS 5D (12.6 megapixel) and a Canon 28mm - 135
mm ultra sonic motor, image stabilised lens.
