A hot late summer day in
east Leicestershire near to the village of Hallaton. The Kodak High
Speed Infra Red black & white film brings out the maximum in texture
within the ripe rape filed and accentuates the contrast between the
blue sky & the clouds allowing the twin trees set against the very white
clouds to hold the eye. The heavy grain from this unusual film adds
a final touch of impressionism to complete this satisfying composition. Photographed
with a specially adapted Olympus OM10 combined with a 24mm ultra wide angled
lens; theoriginal print being made using traditional wet dark room techniques
onto black & white paper. Stuart Hewins DPAGB |
