A composition
seen from the roadside as you drive up into Greater Langdale and which has
no doubt been photographed by almost every visitor to this wonderful part
of the country - at least by either those on foot or by those who managed
to find a nearby parking place - not easy on this road! On this occasion
the tree has been caught at the best of its autumn colour & the Langdale
Pikes beyond set against a featureful cloudscape; a situation that's all
too rare. I've photographed this view many times but this one taken
in November 2007 is so far the best. Canon EOS 5D (12.6 megapixel)
in combination with a Canon 28mm - 135mm IS USM lens. Stuart Hewins DPAGB |
