This little island
improbably densely covered in native Scots Pines was catching the warn
evening sunlight perfectly when I photographed them in July 1997. Their
orange coloured bark for which they are famous glows so strongly they appear
to be lit by an internal fire. Photographed
with an Olympus OM10 on Fujichrome Velvia 50 ASA colour slide film. Stuart Hewins DPAGB |
