Three autumn
beech leaves backlit by the sun against a diffuse background created by the
sunlight filtering through the branches of the tree. The leaves glow
like jewels & the water droplets, achieved by re-photographing a back
projected image behind a sheet of wet glass, produce an impressionistic
end result in keeping with the dampness of autumn. An entirely non
digital image originally photographed on colour slide film with an Olympus
OM10 and the 'long end' of a 70mm - 200mm lens. Stuart Hewins DPAGB |
