A cold and breezy day but this visit to Blea Tarn offered the infrequent sight of the Landgdale Pikes covered in Snow. The grey & white of the sky & snowcapped mountains contrasts well with the warm rusty tones of the dry bracken and winter grass. The small peninsular with its lichen covered rock adds interest to the tarn shore line and completes the picture. Canon EOS5D (12.6 megapixel) Stuart Hewins DPAGB |
