Set at the South
end of Lake Coniston on a bright & misty October morning ; what really
makes this image is the border of reeds at the base with their fleur-de-lys
seed heads. I've checked out this spot on many more recent autumns
and never found the reeds as good as this again - that's the magic of photography
- to capture a moment which may never be repeated again! Photographed
pre digitally on the classic Fujichrome Velvia 50ASA slide film with an Olympus
OM2 in combination with a 70mm - 200mm lens. Stuart Hewins DPAGB |
