Windermere Tranquility

Lake Windermere
on a calm & misty morning in November 2006. Almost monochrome but
not quite and its the 'not quite' which is so important in this image - the
subtle pink diffusion in the mist & it's reflections in the water. I've
long resisted the urge to brighten the image or to give it more contrast
but if I did then so much tonal detail would be lost & with it it's special

All prints are Very Short Run Limited Edition of maximum 50 images - across all sizes & mediums - they are supplied with a Certificate of Authentication attached to their back - this contains their Copy Number, a copy of the Descriptive Text which can be read above, on the right hand side image & are Signed by the Photographer.
Traditional
prints are 'best fit' to 12"x18" photographic paper, window
mounted on ivory or white card as appropriate and completed with
a backing board.
The board is trimmed to
fit a standard 16"x22" photographic frame.
All prints are supplied
post and package free.
