Photographed
somewhere in western Scotland in September 2001. Woodland streams are
not easy subjects, being frequently too overgrown & tangled with not
enough light but this is a notable exception. Apart from the unhindered progress
of the stream through the image it has a wonderful quality in the water &
just a hint of yellow reflection from some late flowering rape in a nearby
field to add a tough of colour just where it was needed. Canon EOS
500N on Velvia 50 ASA colour slide film. Stuart Hewins DPAGB |
